The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its newest inductees.

From 15 nominees, the seven chosen are the Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music and the Zombies.

Stevie Nicks will be the first woman to be inducted twice - once as part of Fleetwood Mac and now as a solo artist.

Artists are eligible to be inducted into the Hall of Fame 25 years after their first record. Inductees are decided by a panel of music industry figures and fans.

Radiohead's debut album Pablo Honey, with the monster hit 'Creep', came out 25 years ago. In contrast, the Zombies' first album Begin Here was released in early 1965.

Artists that were nominated this year but didn't make the cut include Kraftwerk, Devo and Rage Against the Machine.

Both Radiohead and Def Leppard have criticised the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the past.

The induction ceremony will take place in March.
