Suits execs to lure Meghan Markle back for final episode with huge charity donation - report

Meghan Markle could return to her former television show Suits for one final episode, if the legal drama's bosses get their way.

According to the Daily Star, the Duchess of Sussex will be offered a multi-million pound donation to charity by NBC Universal for a short cameo appearance as Rachel Zane.

The appearance would reportedly last for only two minutes, and would feature the Duchess sporting her baby bump in character.

"We could be done in half a day or less," a production source reportedly told the Daily Star.

"No final figure has yet been arrived at but negotiations are likely to be opened in the very near future."

Rachel Zane and husband Mike Ross, played by Patrick J Adams, both had their final Suits scenes air less than a month before Meghan's real life wedding to Prince Harry.

"We could create a storyline where Rachel and Mike have created new lives for themselves and are starting a family, with Rachel showing an obvious baby bump," the source said.

"I believe we could get away with only one or two lines from Rachel, perhaps saying how she would never have believed she would have such a wonderful life.

"This particular route would beautifully mirror real life."

Earlier this year, the Duchess reportedly confessed that she missed Suits while speaking with a fan about the hit show.

Despite the hype, Harper's Bazaar refutes the claims that Meghan might return to the silver screen. The magazine reports that show insiders confirmed there was no charity donation offer on the table or plans for a royal comeback.
