Guns 'n' Roses guitarist Slash reveals why he won't quit music

He's one of the greatest guitarists in the history of rock and hasn't done at television interview in five years.

But on Friday night Slash sat down with The Project for an exclusive chat.

Saul Hudson, better known as Slash, has been slaying the world stage since rising to fame in the late '80s with Guns 'n' Roses.

In 2010 he released his debut solo album, which he's since followed up with another three albums with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators.

With two NZ shows this weekend, we sent ultimate Slash fan Ben Hurley to an undisclosed location for a chat with the legend himself.

Tickets are still available if you'd like to see him in Tauranga on Friday night or in Auckland on Saturday night.

Watch the full interview in the video above.
