Tupac 'alive and making new music', says Suge Knight's son

Tupac is alive and in the studio recording new music, according to the son of troubled hip-hop mogul Suge Knight.

The acclaimed 'Dear Mama' rapper was infamously murdered in a drive-by shooting in 1996, but has been the subject of many conspiracy theories since.

Suge Knight ran Death Row records, to which Tupac was signed, and was with the rapper when he was killed - but in recent years claimed the shooting wasn't fatal.

Now his son, Suge J Knight, has taken to Instagram to claim Tupac is making new tracks.

"I got Pac back in the studio. New music coming," says the post, which is captioned: "This ain't a joke. New Death Row? Coming soon."

Like his father before him, Suge J Knight publicly claimed Tupac was still alive in 2018.

He said on social media that his own life was being threatened as a result of the claims and even published photos he insisted were of Tupac with people who became famous after his death, including Beyonce and 50 Cent.

In further Instagram posts since his claim of Tupac making new music, Suge J Knight has denied that he's delusional and on drugs, and requested the "hottest producer".

Meanwhile, Suge Knight senior is in prison for his latest in a long line of legal problems. He's serving a 28-year sentence for manslaughter after a hit-and-run killing he carried out in 2015.
