The Swiss actor who memorably portrayed Hitler in 2004's Downfall has died.
Bruno Ganz, whose career on TV and film lasted more than five decades, was 77.
His performance in Downfall was widely acclaimed, one memorable scene from the film later becoming a popular meme on YouTube.
He was diagnosed with intestinal cancer last year.
Other films Ganz starred in include Wim Wenders' Wings of Desire, Werner Herzog's Nosferatu the Vampyre and Lars von Trier's The House that Jack Built.
