Dramatic trailer shows Abby Lee Miller's return to Dance Moms after cancer, prison

Reality TV star Abby Lee Miller has beaten the odds and will return to Dance Moms for season eight after being released from prison and battling a rare cancer.

A new trailer for Dance Moms: Resurrection features dramatic footage from Miller's hospitalization for Burkitt Lymphoma, which she was diagnosed with weeks after leaving prison for a fraud conviction.

"In an instant, your life changes completely," Miller says over footage of her being loaded into an ambulance.

"I was ready to go back to work and start my life over, and now, I can't even walk," she cries.

Now wheelchair bound and wearing a wig due to the hair loss she experienced from chemotherapy, Miller appears eager to get back to her controversial dance teaching style - famous for bringing little girls and their mothers to tears.

"I need to get back to teaching and I need to get back to screaming at children," she says.

"I need to get back to my roots. I'm going to take these kids right back to Pittsburgh."
