It's the fifth Kiwi show of the 'Benny and the Jets' hitmaker's Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, with three already sold-out.
John was originally scheduled to play three shows across the country in Auckland, Dunedin and Hawkes Bay, but has since added two extra shows.
One will be in Auckland, another at the Mission Estate Winery in Hawke's Bay. Auckland's second show will take place at Mt Smart Stadium on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.
The first run of tickets for the shows sold at break-neck speed after presale began at 9am on February 12.
Tickets to all three shows are already being sold on notorious scalper website Viagogo, which was recently in trouble with New Zealand's Commerce Commission.
Viagogo contacted Newshub at the time to insist "it is perfectly legal to resell a ticket".
