The Favourite lived up to its name at the BAFTA Awards today, with the British film taking home the biggest haul of the night.

It's the one awards night that attracts actual royalty along with acting royalty, with Duke and Duchess of Cambridge William and Kate watching on as Rachel Weisz took out Best Supporting Actress for the film.

Olivia Colman delivered another classic speech after bagging another Best Actress win.

Mahershala Ali added to his awards season's haul, taking Best Supporting Actor for Green Book and Rami Malek continued to rock through to the Oscars, winning the BAFTA for his role as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody

Oscar-favorite Roma scored the big awards of the night, taking home Best Film and Best Foreign Language Film, as well as Best Director for Alfonso Cuaron.
