Eminem could have a new unlikely target for his next diss track - Netflix.

The 'Killshot' rapper, real name Marshall Mathers, took to Twitter to blast the streaming giant after it was announced The Punisher would be the latest in a string of Marvel TV series to get the axe.

"DEAR NETFLIX," he tweeted.

"REGARDING YOUR CANCELLATION OF THE PUNISHER, YOU ARE BLOWING IT!!

"SINCERELY, MARSHALL."

Earlier this week, Netflix confirmed that the show would suffer the same fate as other binned Marvel offerings such as Jessica Jones and Daredevil

"We are grateful to Marvel for five years of our fruitful partnership and thank the passionate fans who have followed these series from the beginning," Netflix said in a statement.

A post on The Punisher Twitter account read simply: "It's been an honor".

Not only is Eminem clearly a big fan of the TV series, he once appeared in a 2009 edition of The Punisher comic books titled 'Kill You'.
