Blink 182's Mark Hoppus jokes he's behind Jonas Brothers reunion, says My Chemical Romance next

Blink 182 member Mark Hoppus has joked he's the one behind the Jonas Brother's reunion.

The trio, who rose to fame after appearing in Disney Channel's Camp Rock, made the announcement with James Corden in a teaser for his 'Carpool Karaoke' feature.

One by one, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas all joined Corden in the car before confirming the reunion.

Hoppus wrote on Twitter the reunion was actually his idea, and he's got more planned.

"The other day I was like 'Hey whatever happened to the Jonas Brothers?' Made a few calls, yada yada, here we are.

"You're welcome, people. I'm calling Gerard next. I got a feeling that in 2019-2020 I can make this one happen as well. Same with your divorced parents. Hit me up."

The "Gerard" he refers to is likely Gerard Way, the former lead singer of popular emo band My Chemical Romance.

My Chemical Romance announced their break-up in March 2013 after 12 years making music.

"We've gotten to go places we never knew we would. We've been able to see and experience things we never imagined possible.

"We've shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends. And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure. "

Responses to the tweet were both joking and pleading.

"Please bring back my family," one person wrote.

"Don't play with the emos Hoppus," another said.
