The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker will make her silver screen debut with a star-studded cast that also includes Crazy Rich Asian's Constance Wu and Riverdale's Lili Reinhart.
According to Deadline, the film, set in New York City during the economic crisis of the early 2000's, "follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables of their Wall Street clients."
Cardi B has often spoken of her experience working as a stripper before becoming one of the most successful female rappers of all time.
"People say, 'Why do you always got to say that you used to be a stripper? We get it,'" she said in an interview with Cosmopolitan.
"Because, y'all don't respect me because of it. Y'all going to respect these strippers from now on."
The film is inspired by a New York Times article published in 2015 called The Hustlers At Scores.
While it will be the hip hop artist's first foray into acting for the big screen, it's not the first time she's collaborated with J-Lo. Last year the pair released their track 'Dinero', featuring DJ Khaled, which won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Collaboration.
