Guerrilla Girls' feminist works touch down in Auckland

Feminist art group the Guerrilla Girls have brought their bold and unflinching works to Auckland.

They're an all-female art collective armed with gorilla masks, but what they stand for has nothing to do with primates.

"What's very good about our image is that when you look at our masks you think of what we stand for," one of the members said in a previous interview.

Auckland Art Gallery is now displaying their work from the past three decades, just in time for International Women's Day.
