R Kelly alleges the parents of his two current girlfriends "sold" their daughters to him in an explosive and emotional interview following his latest sex abuse charges.

The controversial R&B singer spoke to CBS journalist Gayle King about his long history of sex crime allegations, including 10 counts of sexual assault laid against him just last month.

When asked about his current relationships with two women, Azriel Clary, 21, and Joycelyn Savage, 23, Kelly alleged that they were "handed over" to him by their parents.

Meanwhile, CBS reports the families of the women claim they have been brainwashed by the 'Ignition' singer and held against their will.

"What kind of love is it that keeps these young women away from their families?" King asked Kelly.

"I'm going answer your question - what kind of father, what kind of mother would sell their daughter to a man?" he replied.

"How come it was okay for me to see them until they wasn't getting no money from me?

"If I were going to take my daughter and she's 19 years old to a 49-year-old icon whatever, celebrity, R. Kelly concert...I'm not going to put her on the stage and leave her.

"I'm going to take her to the concert. Their father is more into my music and knew about my music than they do."

Later in the interview, Kelly had to be physically restrained by his publicist after an outburst in which he stood up, screaming and sobbing while defending himself.

"This is not me. I'm fighting for my f**king life!" he said, pounding his fist on his chest.

"Y'all killing me with this shit! I've given you 30 years of my f**king career!

"Y'all trying to kill me! You're killing me man!"
