Duncan Garner says it is important not to censor people like Israel Folau, so we can see what they stand for and "laugh" at them.
The AM Show host was discussing the Aussie rugby star after Folau posted on Instagram that drunks, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists and idolators are all going to hell unless they repent.

"What a massive attack he has had on the churches, gay people, thieves and pimps, adulterers and idolators.
"Do not shut people like Israel Folau out, allow him to have his moment in the sun. We need to see these people for all they are, then we can laugh at them," Garner said.
He said Folau had a "massive brain fart" and called his beliefs "garbage".
Co-host Mark Richardson warned people not to listen to Folau just because he was a rugby star.
"I think we should tell people to pick very carefully who you want to listen to, and who you want to encourage your kids to listen to.
"This is just a warning that not everyone out there running around on a sports field, whose God-given talent you admire, is someone you might want to follow emotionally."
Richardson said Folau has very conservative religious beliefs and pretty much everyone was going to hell based on that list - including himself.
"I am going to hell on the basis of being a drunk. I have fornicated at some point in my life."
Garner agreed, saying hell was a big place and there were a couple of spots for him.
"I think I am going to hell on the basis of all of them," Garner said.
Although he reiterated a number of times he was not gay.
"You like men though," host Amanda Gillies added.
Folau is in trouble with Rugby Australia for the post, with the organisation Tweeting they were investigating it.
"Rugby Australia is aware of a post made by Israel Folau on his Instagram account this afternoon," the governing body said.
"The content within the post is unacceptable. It does not represent the values of the sport and is disrespectful to members of the rugby community.
"The Rugby Australia Integrity Unit has been engaged on the matter tonight."
Folau's posts come a year after he met with Rugby Australia boss Raelene Castle over one of his previous posts claiming God's plan for gay people was "HELL".
