Summer Heights High's Chris Lilley announces Netflix show Lunatics

Summer Heights High creator Chris Lilley has dropped a trailer for his new Netflix show Lunatics, featuring six new characters in a documentary-style 10 part series.

Famous for highly-quotable characters like zany drama teacher Mr G and spoiled private schoolgirl Ja'mie, Lilley has developed a host of new personas for his latest project.

Among them, a lesbian pet psychic to the stars called Jana, an incompetent real estate agent called Quentin and an extraordinarily tall university student called Becky.

The rest of the line-up is made up of an elderly ex-porn star, a fashion retail veteran and a young boy set to become an Earl of an English estate.

The show promises to examine the lives of the six individuals through interviews and fly-on-the-wall footage, exploring the idea that "people are not what they seem at first".

Lunatics is the latest addition to a long list of Lilley's original shows, including We Can Be Heroes, Angry Boys, Jonah From Tonga and Ja'mie: Private School Girl.
