Lively had clearly been keeping her pregnancy under wraps for some time, briefly posing for photographers before heading inside with Reynolds to watch the film.

The Hollywood power couple have two daughters, Inez, 2, and James, 4. Earlier this week, Reynolds said his eldest daughter was excited to see  Pokémon: Detective Pikachu.

"My daughter James is losing her mind over it," he told Entertainment Tonight.

"She's never been interested in a movie I've done ever."

Exactly how far along Lively is remains to be seen.

After the birth of their second child, Reynolds revealed that he had opted to play Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get It On' in the delivery room.

"It was like steak knives came out of her eyes," Reynolds told Seth Meyers of his wife.

"She was like, 'Are you f**king kidding me right now?!'"

The couple have been married since 2012.
