R Kelly charged with 11 new counts of sex abuse, alleged victim in early teens

R Kelly has been charged with 11 additional sex crimes after being arrested and charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse earlier this year.

The disgraced R&B singer is accused of using force to sexually assault a victim, who was between the ages of 13 and 16 when the alleged abuse took place.

In February, Kelly was hit with several sex abuse charges that involved four women over a 10 year period, three of whom were underage.

The 'Ignition' singer pleaded not guilty and denied any wrongdoing after his arrest three months ago, and has yet to comment on the fresh charges.

Prosecutors allege that Kelly threatened at least one of his accusers in order to pressure her into performing sex acts when she was underage.

The aggravated criminal sexual assault charges, of which Kelly is now facing four more, carry a maximum sentence of 30 years jail time.
