Shortland Street paid tribute to one of its former stars, dedicating Monday’s episode to Pua Magasiva.
The opening credit featured a photo of the actor along with the words "In memory of our friend and colleague Pua Magasiva".
The 38-year-old, who found fame as Vinnie Kruse in the long-running Kiwi soap, died on Saturday in Wellington.
He also had on-screen roles in Sione's Wedding, Outrageous Fortune and Power Rangers.
Police confirmed to Newshub they were called to a death at a Wellington CBD address in the early hours of Saturday morning.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and the death will be referred to the coroner."
Tributes flowed for the popular actor over the weekend.
Shot put champion Valerie Adams tweeted: "Rest In Peace Pua Magasiva. Thoughts and prayers to the family."
Radio and television star Mike Puru shared his condolences.
"Sending my love to his friends and family - he would always stop and say hello to anyone that would say hi to him - bloody good guy."
