Sonic the Hedgehog will be coming out on February 14, 2020, after filmmakers decided to redesign the main character.
The internet reacted with widespread horror after the first trailer was released. Many people were bothered by Sonic's small eyes and human teeth.

Director Jeff Fowler quickly announced that changes would be made.
"Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear... you aren't happy with the design & you want changes," director Jeff Fowler said on Twitter.
"It's going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be... #sonicmovie #gottafixfast."
Now Fowler has admitted that redesign can't be achieved with the movie's existing November release date.
"Taking a little more time to make Sonic just right.#novfxartistswereharmedinthemakingofthismovie," Fowler wrote on Twitter.
It was accompanied with a picture of a sign showing the date February 14, the films new opening day.
