Robbie Magasiva shares tattoo 'tribute' to brother Pua

Robbie Magasiva has shared an image of a tattoo he's received in honour of his late brother, Pua.

Last month, Pua, the 38-year-old actor well-known for his role on Shortland Street, Sione's Wedding and Power Rangers, was found dead in unsuspicious circumstances in Wellington.

On Saturday, Robbie shared an image on his Instagram of a tattoo he has received in "tribute to my loving brother".

He also added the hashtag: "#missyoupoos".

Kiwi actress Teuila Blakely commented, calling it "beautiful", while Ma'a Nonu sent Robbie love hearts.

The tattoo artist, Tritoan Ly, who Robbie thanked in the post, also uploaded an image of the tattoo which is of island flowers.

"Island flowers for Robbie Magasiva dedicated to his brother, thanks for going easy on me at ping pong bro."

Following Pua's death, Robbie, an actor on the Australian television show Wentworth, shared a moving post on Instagram saying how much he missed Pua.

"My heart is broken. I miss you so much Pua. We all do. Rest now. I love you Pua."

That post was uploaded the same day Pua was laid to rest in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family in Wellington.

A raft of Kiwi celebrities shared their condolences in the comments section of that post, including comedian/filmmaker Madeline Sami and former Shortland Street actor Shavaughn Ruakere.
