Synthony EDM dance party goes nationwide

Christchurch's newly opened Town Hall is set to host Synthony's first-ever Christchurch performance this September.

Synthony takes the very best of EDM - plus a powerhouse Symphony Orchestra. Add guest appearances by some Kiwi musical luminaries, and the venue will be transformed into a dance party like no other.

The event promises to have the crowd moving with three decades of club classics as well as  "a curated show of lights, lasers, and a state of the art sound system".

Each show is set to surprise spectators, the musical line-up a closely-guarded secret.

For the first time, Sythony is broadening from its Auckland base to include shows in Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton, featuring local artists and orchestras to bring the incredible performance to a plethora of EDM fanatics nationwide.

Synthony will be conducted by ASO music director Peter Thomas and mixed and hosted by George FM DJ General Lee.

Both 2017 and 2018 sold out in a matter of hours, and now, Synthony is ready to take on Australasia with a number of shows scheduled to cross the ditch this year.

Christchurch is set for September 6th, while Auckland's Town Hall is set to host two shows on September 20 and 21. Hamilton's Claudelands Arena will host on October 12Synthony is set to grace Wellington's TSB Arena on October 25th. 

All tickets will be available through Synthony.com, with GA tickets starting at $79, seated at $99 and VIP from $185. Tickets go on sale to the public June 25.
