Watch: Kylie Minogue surprises grieving 8yo twins who sang 'Dancing' to dying mum

Kylie Minogue has delighted two young girls who tragically lost their mother to cancer by inviting them backstage for a surprise singalong.

A clip of Sophie and Lauren Cripps went viral earlier this year showing the 8-year-old twins singing Kylie Minogue's song 'Dancing' to their mother as she lay in her hospital bed.

Their father, Lee Cripps, tweeted the video one day before his wife Alex died. At the time, Minogue replied to the post, writing: "I'm so touched and so very sorry for your loss. Sending you and your girls lots of love."

Several months on, Minogue managed to go one better, arranging to have the girls meet her backstage at her concert in Oxford on Sunday (local time).

"Loved meeting Sophie & Lauren, and getting to sing Dancing with them!" the Aussie pop icon captioned a video of her singing with the twins.

"Thank you girls!!"

At the end of the song, the 'Spinning Around' singer grabs a bunch of roses and throws them at Sophie and Lauren's feet as they beam excitedly.

Lee Cripps told the BBC his daughters were "thrilled" with the "unforgettable" moment.

"It was a surprise I had known about for a few weeks," Cripps said.

"It felt like Kylie had all the time in the world for the girls."
