A$AP Rocky remains in 'horrific' Sweden prison after new fight video surfaces

A$AP Rocky remains locked up in a Swedish detention facility after the country's Supreme Court rejected an appeal by the rapper.

The hip-hop star reportedly voluntarily went to police for questioning after his alleged involvement in a fight that took place earlier this month.

TMZ published a video of the incident, which appears to show Rocky and three other associates embroiled in a physical altercation with two young men.

Rocky himself shared footage of the event on Instagram that appears to show he and his entourage repeatedly telling the men to stop following them, before one of them swings his headphones at a bodyguard.

After missing several European performance dates, a Swedish court ruled the rapper be detained for two weeks while the incident is under investigation, according to Spin.

TMZ reports Rocky is being held in "shockingly inhumane conditions", according to an unnamed source. The celebrity gossip site claims the facility is "disease-ridden" and the rapper is forced to sleep on the floor, with no blankets.

A raft of celebrities have called for Rocky's release this week by sharing a Change.org petition asking Swedish officials to let him go.

Shawn Mendes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Kris Jenner and many more have taken to social media to encourage their followers to take action.

It's not the first time Rocky being involved with violence has been caught on camera. In 2013, he was filmed apparently slapping a female fan in Sydney.
