A man was arrested after climbing over the Buckingham Palace's front gates while the Queen slept.
London's Metropolitan Police released a statement on Thursday (local time) confirming a man had climbed over the front gate of Buckingham Palace at 2am on Wednesday morning.

The 22-year-old was arrested on suspicion of trespass but soon released while an investigation was underway.
"The man was not found in possession of any offensive weapons and the incident is not being treated as terrorist-related," a statement said.
An unnamed royal source told The Sun that the Queen, who was asleep at the time, was informed and the man had been banging on doors before being caught.
Thirty-seven years earlier, on July 9, 1982, Michael Fagan scaled Buckingham Palace and found his way into the Queen's bedroom early in the morning while she was in bed. He was removed by duty footman Paul Whybrew and two policemen on palace duty.
