Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has been charged with criminal recklessness and two counts of domestic battery after allegedly swinging a machete at her partner and son.

According to court documents obtained by E!, the reality TV personality was arrested after she struck the door her boyfriend and one year old child were hiding behind.
A police affidavit states that Portwood's boyfriend texted an officer saying, "I need help... my life and my son's life is in danger", in Indiana at around 2am (local time) on July 5.
When cops arrived, Portwood reportedly admitted she had struck her partner with a shoe on his neck while he was holding their son, who was unharmed.
Before she was taken into custody, the 29-year-old MTV star reportedly claimed: "It was in the shoulder, and I barely hit him."
Previously, Portwood was charged with felony domestic battery and neglect of a dependent after allegedly slapping and choking her ex-fiance. She went on to serve two years jail time after pleading guilty to two domestic battery charges.
