The late, great Johnny Cash has been immortalised once more in film, this time in a documentary that strips away the legend of the Man in Black and reveals just the man himself.
Along with archival footage, and testimonies from friends and family, "The Gift - The Journey of Johnny Cash" is directed by award-winning film editor and director Thom Zimny, and opens today at the New Zealand International Film Festival.
