The reality TV star revealed a freak accident with a rogue champagne cork had left him seriously injured, but appeared to be optimistic about the situation.
"Thanks for all the messages and support I've got over the last couple days, they're all very much appreciated," Campbell wrote to his 270,000 followers.
"So yeah, basically two eye surgeries later after a really unfortunate accident, I've lost all vision in my right eye as it got split in half. Who would have thought a champagne cork would be the end of me.
"But I still have one eye left, looking at the bright side of things," Campbell added, thanking his girlfriend Kaz Crossley for flying to be with him.
"It's been a hard 24 hours," Crossley wrote in an Instagram Story. "No one here speaks English and he was taken for hours. At one point I had no idea he was in surgery again.
"I hope this will make people aware of the dangers at these parties and to be more careful," she added.
After thanking his fans for their support, Campbell requested they let him know if they knew where to buy "cool eye patches".
