The Pixies last performed in Aotearoa in March, 2017, at what was then entitled Vector Arena.
Currently, they're touring with the line-up of Black Francis, David Lovering, Joey Santiago and Paz Lenchantin, after founding member Kim Deal quit the band in 2013.
The band is set to release their eighth studio album, Beneath The Eyrie, in September. The album is said to be filled with songs dealing with witches, misfits, Daniel Boone and other haunted topics, reports Rolling Stone.
Tickets for the March 6, 2020 concert go on sale on Thursday, August 8.
