The Backstreet Boys have apparently accidentally announced a New Zealand show planned for May 2020.
An image reportedly uploaded to the boyband's website showed plans for shows in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Problem is none of those shows had been formally announced yet and the picture was quickly taken down.
It was too late for fans of the band though and screenshots of the picture quickly surfaced on social media.
Next year will mark five years since the band was last in New Zealand, with their sell-out show at Spark Arena on May 12, 2015, being the last time the band visited our shores.
