Breaking Bad's Walter White lookalike on run from US police on meth-related charges

A Facebook post from an Illinois police department has prompted a flurry of hilarious comments after they requested help from the public in locating a Walter White lookalike on meth charges.

Galesburg authorities are seeking Todd W. Barrick Jr, wanted on an arrest warrant for violating his probation. According to local news station KWQC, the warrant relates to possession of methamphetamine.

Barrick Jr's uncanny resemblance to the fictional character Walter White from the hit TV show Breaking Bad could not be ignored by Facebook users.

Bryan Cranston played cancer-victim-turned-Meth kingpin Walter White AKA Heisenberg  - and many felt Barrick Jr was a dead ringer for the iconic character.

"He is the one who knocks," one comment read, referencing one of White's most legendary lines.

"I would never turn in Heisenberg," said another.

Others suggested cops should try looking for their suspect at some of the show's recognisable locations.

"Have you tried Albuquerque? Perhaps at Los Pollos Hermanos," one comment read.

Multiple media outlets report Barrick Jr remains at large.
