Actor Dennis Quaid is reportedly engaged to his 26-year-old girlfriend, Laura Savoie, who has been spotted wearing what appears to be a new engagement ring.

According to TMZ, Quaid proposed Savoie, 39 years his junior, at Turtle Bay in Hawaii.
The celebrity gossip website has obtained a photo which was said to have been taken shortly after, showing the university student flashing a diamond ring.
Quaid reportedly began dating Savoie, who is a PhD student at the University of Texas, in June.
Online commentators have had mixed reactions to the engagement, with many highlighting the considerable age difference between the pair.
"I thought it was his daughter," one Facebook user wrote.
"Is it just me or does that say 26 [years old]? I mean that must be a typo, right?" said another.
Others came to the defence of Quaid, arguing that the couple's respective ages were irrelevant.
"You know you all are mean," one fan wrote.
"Everyone gets old - leave the man alone, let him enjoy his moments on earth and be happy!"
The marriage will be the Any Given Sunday actor's fourth, having previously been wed to Kimberly Quaid, Meg Ryan and PJ Soles. He has three children from his previous relationships.
