Anna and Jordan, one of three couples to make it out of the 2019 Married At First Sight NZ experiment together, have officially called it quits.
Jordan announced the news on Instagram, saying the pair gave their relationship "its best chance", but they could not make the partnership work romantically.
"When you have to spend time apart, in reality, you start to realise your deep real feelings," he wrote.
"We share so much love, I truly will have a friend for life in Anna but if you realise you are not In love with someone it is not a feeling you can hide."
Jordan added that he had "no regrets" about joining the show, calling the reality TV experiment an "amazing experience".
Anna has also addressed the break up on social media, telling fans she's seeing a counsellor to work on her mental health.
"Being completely honest with you, I was not dealing with the media and attention surrounding my past on the show," she wrote.
"It took a massive toll on myself and my family. Post-show, I have been diagnosed with anxiety, depression and have had suicidal thoughts."
Anna added she had been receiving support from close friends and family, Warner Brothers [the production company which makes the show], a counsellor and a doctor.
"My heart breaks as I write this," she continued, "but I have to also announce that Jordan and I are no longer together".
"He had to do what was best for him.
"I think when you give your heart away you never really get it all back, so I still and always will have a lot of love, respect and support for Jordan in everything he does, and I only wish him happiness for his future."
Anna assured fans she is "a very strong human", but just needed time to process the experiment and the break-up.
