'Worst beats ever!': Tyler the Creator fires new shots at Eminem

Tyler the Creator has publicly stated Eminem's music is bad in the latest attack since the pair started feuding last year.

After being labelled "f****t" in Eminem's song 'Fall', Tyler hasn't hit back with a diss track of his own - but issued the new burn in a new interview.

"Eminem picked some of the worst beats ever," Tyler tells producer Rick Rubin on his podcast, Broken Record.

"People who hear a smooth beat like, 'I'm going f**kin' yell on it!'. They're more thinking of saying cool shit rather than making a good song.

"[Eminem's] energy and witty lines is what made the songs cool.”

Tyler says that in contrast to Eminem, Jay-Z is an artist who delivers vocals and beats "perfectly" - but says Ludacris also sometimes "picks shitty beats".

As for the homophobic insult Eminem hurled at him in 'Fall', Tyler recently told The Guardian he didn't mind.

"Did you ever hear me publicly say anything about that?" Tyler said.

"He felt pressured because people got offended for me. Don't get offended for me. We were playing Grand Theft Auto when we heard that. We rewound it and were like: 'Oh'. And then kept playing."

Eminem hasn't said much publicly since finishing his media run for 2018 album Kamikaze, which he toured the world with.

His March 2019 concert in Wellington is the last time he's performed live.
