On Wednesday, The Project promised viewers that former Oasis member, Noel Gallagher, would be gracing the desk ahead of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' upcoming performances at U2's Auckland shows.
However, the Project were unable to fulfil their promise, the production team hearing on Thursday morning that Gallagher was sick and unable to make his scheduled appearance.

But despite the short notice, they did get the next best thing - Noel Gallagher, an Auckland-based Irish digger-driver who "definitely" can't sing.
