The Kardashian clan has come under fire for their wasteful ways after a scene of the family having a food fight appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Khloe Kardashian uploaded the moment to her Instagram with the caption: "You messed with the wrong b*tch, @krisjenner," as a promotion for the next episode of the reailty TV show.
It wasn't long before many of Khloe's 100 million followers began to chime in with their disapproval over the wasting of an entire meal.
In the clip, Khloe herself dubs the event "bizarre, disturbing and unacceptable"; however her tongue-in-cheek approach did little to mitigate the outrage.
"Not cool! So many people don't have food it's very sad to see that," one comment read.
"Wasting food for fun when there are thousands of hungry families," said another.
Many of the comments pointed out "people are starving", accusing the Kardashians of being so wealthy they were ignorant to others' suffering.
"Food fight? Why don't you fight for starved kids all over the world? This is not right."
"All I can think about is how many hungry kids we have in this world and y'all throwing food around."
While Khloe's Instagram Story is filled with slides showing inspirational quotes, she's yet to comment publicly on the backlash.
