Pet owning music lovers will rejoice at the news that Swedish music company Spotify has released a playlist for you and your animal.

The playlists are "algorithmically curated" for you and either your cat, dog, hamster, bird or iguana.

The company created the experience after they conducted a study on how pet owners use music with their animal friends.

They found eight in ten people believe their pets like music and around 46 percent of people feel that music is a stress reliever for their animals.

"We found that 71 percent of pet owners surveyed play music for their pets, and that’s not all.

"70 percent of animal parents consider the emotional wellness of their pets daily," the company said in a press release.

The playlist picks songs you already love and new ones for you and your pet.

To create a playlist follow these steps:

First, open the link.

Pick your pet and hit next.

The site will take you to a page to choose whether your animal is relaxed or energetic, shy or friendly, apathetic or curious.
