Cindy Crawford's son Presley Gerber defends 'misunderstood' face tattoo

Presley Gerber, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford has hit back at the haters after he debuted a new face tattoo on social media.

Over the weekend, the 20-year-old model had the word "MISUNDERSTOOD" tattooed under his right eye.

The ink was revealed on celebrity New York City tattoo artist Jonboy's Instagram, along with the caption: "Sorry Mom."

Gerber shared a snap of him going under the tattoo needle on his own Instagram page, where it wasn't long before the disapproving comments rolled in.

"You get Cindy Crawford's genetics and this is what you do with it?!" one comment read.

"The dumbest thing anyone could do," said another.

One Instagram user accused Gerber of being "a rich, blond white kid [who] thinks he is a thug".

"Kiss your modeling days goodbye, you used to have such a great look. Ruined with tats. Yuck."

Gerber responded to the backlash in an Instagram Live video, where he offered up his home address to anyone who "had shit to say" to him.

"What is the meaning of the misunderstood tattoo is I don't feel very understood I guess," Gerber said in the video.

"But I just wanted to come on here and be like, if anyone has shit to say to me about this or anything else or my family, or how I grew up or anything - I will give my address, I promise, and you can come say it to my face."

In December last year Gerber found himself on the wrong side of the law when he was arrested for DUI in Beverly Hills - despite not being of legal drinking age, reported TMZ.
