Helen Kelly is a name that most New Zealanders will recognise.

As president of the Council of Trade Unions, she campaigned for years for the betterment of Kiwis, including to improve safety standards after the Pike River Mine Tragedy. She passed away in 2016.

Director Tony Sutorius spent the last year of Helen's life documenting her activism and he spoke to The AM Show.
