MAFS AU groom David Cannon films moment he finds out wife Hayley Vernon is cheating with another husband

One of the grooms on Married At First Sight Australia has captured the moment he learned of his wife's infidelity on camera.

David Cannon filmed himself in his apartment at 1am in a clip that aired on Tuesday night's episode on Three.

In the video, Cannon says that he's home alone while his partner Hayley Vernon is out on the town with two of the reality TV show's other participants, Michael Goonan and Chris Nicholls.

"There's a few little rumours that I've heard... I was told that Hayley is macking on with Michael," Cannon tells the camera.

"My darling wife is making out with another husband."

Holding up Vernon's key card to the room, Cannon laughs and says she won't be able to get back in, and he thinks it's best if he stays "removed" in the room for now.

"I'm sure it will all come up at the dinner party," he says, teasing the episode due to air on Wednesday night.

"Why am I smiling?" he concludes.

"Because I just want to go home, and put this nightmare of a marriage behind me."

A preview for Wednesday night's episode shows the scandal being uncovered in front of all of the participants. It also promises to reveal a "disgusting" act of revenge undertaken by Cannon dubbed "too far" by his fellow participants.

Married At First Sight Australia airs on Sundays at 7pm and Monday - Wednesday at 7.30pm on Three, with the episodes also available on ThreeNow.
