Eminem surprised hospital workers in his home city of Detroit with a free lunch of 'Mom's Spaghetti' - a reference to a line in his iconic track 'Lose Yourself'.

The Twitter account for Henry Ford Hospital shared images of the tubs of pasta emblazoned with the words 'thank you frontline caregivers' and the Shady Record logo.

"Our #HealthcareHeroes 'lost themselves' in the delicious Mom’s Spaghetti donated by Detroit’s very own, @Eminem. Thank you for providing a special meal for our team members," the tweet read.

According to Billboard, Eminem's Marshall Mathers Foundation will provide cups of Mom's Spaghetti to healthcare workers in Detroit over the next several weeks.

In his Oscar-winning track from 2002, Eminem raps: "His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/there’s vomit on his sweater already - mom’s spaghetti". The phrase inspired the rapper to open a Mom's Spaghetti pop-up stall at Coachella in 2018.
