Faceless British graffiti artist Banksy has been busy during pandemic lockdown despite having to keep off the streets - instead using his own bathroom as the site of his latest masterpiece.

Banksy shared his creation on Instagram, in which he'd let his infamous rat sketches run amok on the walls, interacting with real rolls of toilet paper and tubes of toothpaste, which had been carefully positioned in the bathroom.

In the mirror, one of the rats can be seen making tally marks on the wall in red lipstick, counting the days in lockdown.

The post was captioned simply: "My wife hates it when I work from home".

Fans of the anonymous artist were delighted with the new piece. "Just made your restroom worth more than your whole house," one commented.

"Truly Britain's greatest artist," said another.
