Bids to win a Zoom date with Keanu Reeves top $25,000

Keanu Reeves is offering up 15 minutes of online one-on-one time to the highest bidder to raise money for a children's charity.

The Matrix star will make himself available for a private Zoom call in aid of the youth cancer organisation Camp Rainbow Gold.

The prize was given a market value of US$10,000, and has already reached $16,400 at the time of writing (NZD $25,404). That number is likely to rise substantially before the auction closes on Monday (US time).

The auction blurb describes the experience as "truly priceless" urging bidders to "get their questions ready" for the director, actor and producer.

Reeves recently video conferenced the graduating class of San Dimas High School along with his Bill & Ted costar Alex Winters to wish the students good luck.

The pair will be reprising their iconic roles as time traveling metalhead teens for a Bill & Ted sequel titled Face the Music due to be released in cinemas this year.
