Viral video of Jacinda Ardern's zero COVID-19 cases dance 'leaked' on YouTube

When New Zealand made global headlines by declaring zero active cases of COVID-19, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern revealed the news had prompted her to "do a little dance".

"I showed (my daughter) Neve. She was caught a little by surprise but she joined in, having absolutely no idea why I was dancing around the lounge," she told Newshub political reporter Jenna Lynch.

The Prime Minister has declined to recreate the dance on several occasions - but now one resourceful Kiwi YouTuber has shed light on what it might have looked like.

Ardern's face was superimposed onto the head of Hugh Grant during his iconic dancing scene from the movie Love Actually in a video created by YouTuber GCSBro.

The clip has since gone viral, delighting social media users across a range of platforms as news of Ardern's joyus reaction has become a talking point online.

"Day made at 6.43am," one Twitter user wrote.

"This is just brilliant. Bravo. Haha," read a comment on YouTube, where the video has garnered over 174,000 views at the time of writing.
