Meghan Markle changed on her Wikipedia page from 'model' to 'activist' days before Prince Harry romance was revealed

Meghan Markle's Wikipedia page allegedly underwent an overhaul just three days before her relationship with Prince Harry was made public.

According to the Daily Mail, the entry dedicated to the former Suits star changed from showing her occupation as 'actress, fashion model and spokesmodel' to 'actress, activist, humanitarian' on October 9, 2016.

The UK tabloid claims that other edits included removing all mention of Meghan's stint as a 'briefcase girl' on the TV game show Deal or No Deal.

At the same time, a humanitarian section was reportedly added to the page, citing Meghan's work in the "socio-political arena" and her title as Global Ambassador for World Vision Canada.

"She has also worked with The United Nations Women, where, as an advocate, she presented at UN Headquarters for the HeforShe Gender Equality Campaign in September 2014," the addition read.

According to the Daily Mail, the changes to Meghan's Wikipedia page were made by an unnamed user with an IP address linked to a Los Angeles PR company, although the tabloid says "there is nothing to suggest Meghan was ever represented by the firm".

Meanwhile, a new royal biography titled Finding Freedom claims the pair were tipped off that a tabloid was planning to reveal their romance, but there's no suggestion Meghan orchestrated the news breaking.
