Cardi B tweets nude photo of Melania Trump to shut down Republican DeAnna Lorraine

Cardi B has shared a nude photo of Melania Trump in response to an insult from a former Republican congressional candidate who declared the president's wife was morally superior to the rapper.

After the First Lady made a speech at the Republican National Convention, political commentator DeAnna Lorraine claimed America needed "far more women like Melania Trump and far less like Cardi B".

"Didn't she used to sell that WAP?" Cardi B fired back, using the title of her latest explicit-lyric-laden single 'WAP'.

To clarify her point, the rapper shared a lightly-censored nude photo of Melania from her modelling days, along with a caption that quoted a line from 'WAP'.

"This pic giving me 'yea you f**kin wit some wet ass p***y' vibes... just sayin'," she wrote, implying that DeAnna, who refers to herself as a "conservative warrior", may not have done enough research into Melania's pre-politics life.

DeAnna didn't appear to respond directly to Cardi B's rebuttal, but she did pen a list of what she perceives to be some of the 'I Like It' hit-maker's worst sins.

"Cardi B: Drugged and robbed men during her time as a 'stripper', raps songs about her genitalia, corrupting our youth, her husband cheated on her and she told the youth of America that it's okay to stay with a cheating man... and Joe Biden & Kamala Harris campaign with her!" DeAnna wrote in another tweet.

Despite drawing criticism from a range of right-wing commentators, Republican pundits and religious followers, 'WAP' has enjoyed overwhelming commerical sucess, debuting at number one on the Billboard charts and breaking streaming records in its first week alone.
