Ozzy Osbourne urges fans to wear masks, slams Trump's COVID-19 response

Ozzy Osbourne has urged fans to wear masks and follow COVID-19 health advice, asserting that President Donald Trump is not a reliable role model for Americans amid the pandemic.

"Whether you like the government or not, Dr Fauci, all these virologist people have given us what we should do: Wear masks, wash hands, social distance," the Black Sabbath star said during a radio interview on Sirirus XM.

One way the so-called Prince Of Darkness stays safe is by "not going anywhere", but he insists he's certainly not looking to the nation's leader for advice as the total number of cases in the US nears the 6 million mark.

"If the president says something, I do the opposite. He changes his mind every hour. I mean literally, I'm going: 'What?'," Osbourne said.

The 'Bark at the Moon' singer already made his thoughts on Trump crystal clear in an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this week, when he said "this guy's acting like a fool".

"If I was running for president, I would try and find out a little bit about politics," he said. "Because the f**king guy you've got in there now doesn't know that much about it, I don't think."

"It's not like anyone could be a f**king heart surgeon and just go in with a scalpel. You have to know what you're fucking doing," Osbourne added.

He said that he generally tried not to talk about politics much, but that he felt the situation in America was getting worse, not better.

"There's not much hope left. Maybe he's got a trick up his sleeve and he's going to surprise us all, and I hope he has."
