Cardi B's marriage to Offset 'irretrievably broken' after he 'cheated the entire time' they were together

Cardi B filed for divorce from her husband Offset after he "pretty much cheated the entire time" they were together, a source claims.

People magazine reports the 'WAP' hitmaker said her marriage was "irretrievably broken" in court documents, adding that there are "no prospects for reconciliation".

A source says there was continued infidelity by Offset throughout the relationship, but that "Cardi looked the other way because of the baby".

"She also didn't want to be embarrassed, but she's had enough," the source claimed.

It's not the first time the hip-hop power-couple's dirty laundry has been aired publicly - three months after the couple secretly wed in 2017, a sex tape that reportedly showed Offset in bed with other women surfaced.

Early the next year, Cardi B confirmed Offset had cheated, but said she wanted to work things out with him. A few months later, the rapper revealed she was pregnant with Offset's baby; but by December 2018, she announced they "grew out of love" and were no longer together.

Offset begged for Cardi to "take him back" by interrupting her performance at Rolling Loud Festival 2018 with a dramatic display of remorse that included white roses and a public apology.

The pair were back on the red carpet together by the time the 2019 Grammys rolled around, and since then Cardi B has spoken several times about forgiving her partner for his past transgressions.

In a recent interview for the September 2020 issue of Elle Magazine, Cardi B described her marriage as having "a lot of love, passion and trust," but admitted there was also "a lot of drama".

Cardi B is reportedly seeking primary custody of the couple's two-year-old daughter Kulture.
