Nickayla Riveria, the sister of the late Naya Rivera, says she's "not concerned with how things look" after reportedly moving in together as a couple with her sibling's ex-husband Ryan Dorsey.
In a note published to her Instagram Story, 25-year-old model Nickayala insisted she was "showing up for her nephew" - Naya and Ryan's five-year-old son - who was found sleeping on a boat when his mother drowned in July.
"In the darkest time of my life, the only thing that is important is my friends and family. Showing up for my nephew, even though I can't show up for myself," wrote Nickayla.
"I'm not concerned with the way things look because no one can see each agonising moment we all endure."
The comments on both Ryan and Nickayla's Instagram pages are littered with outraged messages from Naya's fans, who have written things like "shame on you" and "the disrespect is astronomical".
The Daily Mail claim Nickayla and Ryan have "become inseparable" in the months following Naya's death, publishing pictures of the pair hanging out and even seemingly holding hands in paparazzi pictures taken earlier this month.
Nickayla said "what matters most is to show compassion and not to judge others", asking her followers to do the same.
"Never take a moment of life for granted," she wrote.
