'Trust me, I will not stop': Kanye West urinates on his Grammy in protest against the music industry

Kanye West has shared a video of himself urinating on his Grammy award in an act of protest against the way he thinks artists are restricted by recording contracts in the music industry.

In one of his now-infamous Twitter tirades, West took aim at music executives and pleaded for fellow artists such as Bono, Drake and even Taylor Swift to also take action.

"ALL THE MUSICIANS WILL BE FREE," West tweeted, before adding: "Bono can I get a retweet, love you Paul can I get a retweet, love you Drake, Kendrick even Taylor - we need you right noooooow."

As well as the video of him apparently relieving himself on the Grammy - which he had placed in a toilet - West shared dozens of pages of his record contracts with Universal Music.

"I wonder if Universal gonna call me... I promise I have more ideas... I will not stop, I PROMISE YOU ON GOD," he tweeted.

West's latest rant is one in a series of troubling online meltdowns that have seen him accuse his wife Kim Kardashian of "white supremacy" and "trying to lock him up".

Not long after the 'Lift Yourself' rapper revealed he and Kardashian had considered aborting their first child North during a speech at his presidential rally in July, Kardashian released a statement addressing her husband's bipolar disorder and asking for compassion from the public.
