Kanye West hits out at Jennifer Aniston, Friends after she says it's not funny to vote for him in US election

Kanye West has lashed out at Jennifer Anniston after she pleaded with her Instagram followers not to vote for him in the upcoming US election. 

Aniston told her 35.7 million followers: "It's not funny to vote for Kanye. I don't know how else to say it. Please be responsible." 

In a since deleted-tweet, West responded with a reference to his recent three-hour interview with Joe Rogan, writing that the interview: "Got 'em shook", along with a screenshot of an article referencing Aniston's statement. "Let's gooooo," he added. 

In a follow-up tweet, West added: "Friends wasn't funny either." 

In her original Instagram post, Aniston said she had voted for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris because "right now this country is more divided than ever". 

"Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can’t do with their own bodies," she added, also criticising Donald Trump's response to COVID-19, racism, LGBTQ+ issues and climate change.

Meanwhile, West continues his campaign to be president, despite not making it onto the ballots of many states. The rapper has been publicly anti-abortion on several occasions. 

In a recent clip from his interview with Rogan, West insisted that his "calling was to be the leader of the free world". 

"I went from having confidence and arrogance to having faith. Faith is the opposite of fear... and that's what now has made me the fearless leader that I am."
